AudioPlayer · Last updated 19 October 2026

AudioPlayer ("the app") is a music player that plays audio files stored on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles.

1. Information the app collects

The app itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. Your music library is read and played entirely on your device — your audio files and playlists never leave your phone. No account or sign-in is required.

2. Advertising

The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information to provide and measure ads, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device/app information. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

3. Permissions used

  • Audio / Media (read) — to browse and play the music and audio files stored on your device.
  • Notifications / Foreground service — to keep playback running in the background and show playback controls.

Permissions are used only for the features described and never for data collection.

4. Data security & retention

Because your data never leaves your device, there is no server-side retention. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

5. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose utility not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
