Privacy Policy

NotifyVault ("the app") is a notification history manager that keeps a searchable log of your notifications on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles.

1. Information the app collects

The app itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. With your permission, the app uses Android's Notification Listener to read incoming notifications on-device and save them into your local, searchable history (including OTP codes you choose to copy). Notification content never leaves your phone. No account or sign-in is required.

2. Advertising

The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information to provide and measure ads, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device/app information. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

3. Permissions used

• Notification access (Notification Listener) — to read incoming notifications on-device and build your searchable history. Content is stored locally only.
• Notifications — for the app's own alerts (for example, OTP copy confirmations).
• Exact alarms / Schedule alarms — for automatic history cleanup on your schedule.

Permissions are used only for the features described and never for data collection.

4. Data security & retention

Because your data never leaves your device, there is no server-side retention. You can clear your notification history at any time inside the app, and deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

5. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose utility not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
