Privacy Policy

TaskFlow · Last updated 7 October 2026

TaskFlow ("the app") is an offline-first task manager. This policy explains what information the app handles.

1. Information the app collects

The app itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. Your tasks, labels, reminders, and settings are stored only on your device. No account or sign-in is required, and the app works fully offline.

2. Advertising

The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information to provide and measure ads, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device/app information. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

3. Permissions used

  • Notifications — to deliver task reminders you set.
  • Exact alarms / Schedule alarms — to trigger reminders at the right time.
  • Home-screen widget — to display today's tasks on your home screen.

Permissions are used only for the features described and never for data collection.

4. Data security & retention

Because your data never leaves your device, there is no server-side retention. Backups you create (JSON export) are saved wherever you choose to store them.

5. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose productivity tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
